This award is not purchased. It can only be earned. The election process involves voting by other physicians and peers and a rigorous review process which includes, among other factors, scrutiny of medical education, training at top institutions, his two board certifications, hospital appointments, administrative posts, professional achievements, his zero malpractice and disciplinary history. His excellent history in all of these categories has propelled him to elite status within the plastic and cosmetic surgery fields.
